The same build runs through every size, so the choice comes down to how many cards you want in one cover.

    Padded, extra-rigid front and back covers in a non-slip, water-resistant material that shrugs off daily handling.

  • Side-loading pockets

    Cards slide in from the side, so they stay put when the binder is upright, carried or opened quickly.

  • Archival-safe pages

    Acid-free and non-PVC, so the pages will not react with card surfaces over years of storage.

  • Padded pages

    A light padded layer in each page cushions cards against scrapes and dings between the leaves.

  • Zip closure

Getting the most from a Vault X binder

Works with every standard-size card game

Vault X pockets are sized for standard 63 x 88mm trading cards, bare or in a sleeve. That covers Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Digimon and Star Wars, plus sports cards such as Match Attax. Smaller Japanese-size cards like Yu-Gi-Oh! fit with room to spare.

Pick by the set, not the pack

Work out the size of the set you are collecting, then add the parallels you want to keep. A main set alone usually suits a 9 or 12-pocket binder; add reverse holos and the XL or XXL makes more sense. Choosing one size up leaves space for promos and the next expansion.

Zip binder or ring binder?

A zip binder has fixed pages, so there are no rings to dent the cards nearest the spine, and the zip keeps the pages closed and dust-free. A ring binder lets you add pages later. If your collection is settled or you carry it, zip. If you are still adding sheets every week, rings.

How many cards does each Vault X binder hold?

Counting one card per pocket on both sides of every page: the 4-pocket holds 160 cards over 20 pages, the 9-pocket holds 360 over 20 pages, the 12-pocket holds 480 over 20 pages, the 12-pocket XL holds 624 over 26 pages, and the 16-pocket XXL holds 1,088 over 34 pages.

What is the difference between the Vault X 12-pocket and 12-pocket XL?

Both use the same 12-pocket page. The XL has 26 pages instead of 20, so it holds 624 cards instead of 480. Its folder measures 34 x 35cm against 33 x 35cm for the standard 12-pocket.

Are Vault X binder pages acid-free and PVC-free?

Yes. The pages are made from archival-safe, acid-free, non-PVC material, which is what you want for long-term storage because it will not react with the card surface over time.

Do Vault X binders fit sleeved cards?

Yes. Vault X lists the binders as compatible with standard card sleeves, and the 9 and 12-pocket pages have inner pockets of 6.8 x 9.7cm, room for a standard 63 x 88mm card in a sleeve. The 4-pocket is listed for single and double-sleeved cards.

Why are Vault X binder pockets side-loading?

A side-loading pocket opens towards the spine rather than the top of the page, so a card cannot slide out when the binder is carried or stood upright. It is one of the main reasons collectors choose a zip binder over a ring binder with top-loading pages.

Which card games do Vault X binders work with?

Any standard-size trading card, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Digimon and Star Wars, plus sports cards such as Match Attax. Smaller cards like Yu-Gi-Oh! fit too, with extra room in the pocket.

What size and thickness are Vault X toploaders?

Vault X Seamless Rigid Toploaders are 35pt, with an internal size of 70 x 98mm for standard cards up to 35pt thick. They have a blue hint tint for clarity and UV protection, and are made from stationery-grade PVC with no plasticizers or stearates.

Will Vault X slab sleeves fit my graded cards?

The Exact Fit slab sleeves measure 86 x 140mm and are made for PSA-sized graded slabs, in 50-micron polypropylene with a sealable tab. They are not suitable for slabs fitted with guards or bumpers, or for graded cards thicker than 35pt.

How many cards fit in the Vault X Sideloading Deck Box 100+?

It holds 100 or more double-sleeved cards, 120 or more single-sleeved cards, or 210 or more unsleeved cards. Eight magnets hold the lid shut, and the lid attaches to the base during play.
